People of Srilanka request for charges against the Srilankan government at the International criminal court ‐ Louise Mereno Okambe

Advocate from the international criminal court Louise Mereno Okambe stated the people of Srilanka have requested him to file charges against the Srilankan government in the International criminal court. Speaking to news week he pointed out on charges against the Sudanese president on genocide related issues and the subsequent warrant issued against him.

He further added he had proof on the genocide act in Sudan and said there were around 5000 people being killed every month.

Okambe highlighted on former presidents from Yugoslavian and Liberia being convicted by the court and now serving prison terms. He stated the Sudanese president could also be arrested anytime from now even while travelling and landing in another country.
