India should urge for a ceasefire to prevent the genocide against the Tamils ‐ Sivajilingam

TNA parliamentarian Sivajilingam has urged the Indian government to bring in a ceasefire to prevent further civilian deaths in the ongoing battle. Speaking to journalist in Chennai he stated there was a mass genocide being  carried out against the Tamils with thousands killed so far and over two hundred thousand people still trapped.

He further added lack of food and medicine for the people trapped in the battle, and added this  has been pointed out by Tamils all around the world.

Sivajilingam added the United Nations to many countries in the world have urged for a ceasefire where as India had not taken necessary actions for the existing problems.
