Erick Solheim meets Sri Lankan Journalists

Norway has once again brought to the attention about the incident of senior members of liberation tigers surrendered at the final stage of war to the Sri Lankan government. The former Envoy to Sri Lanka Erick Solheim made this statement in the midst of   some Journalists visited Oslo.

He said During the final war period, he was on contact with Liberation tigers Peace Secretariat leader S.Pulithevan and International wing leader Kumaran Pathmanathan, and at that time he was informed, the senior members of Liberation tigers were surrendering, said Erick Solheim.  While he was questioned who was in connection with this decision? he  refused to respond, but  said, from the year 2009, May 17, talks were held about the surrender of tigers to the Sri Lankan forces. Meanwhile he said an immediate political settlement should be forwarded, and appreciated the Experts panel origination by the United Nation Organization in regard to Sri Lanka.  God only knows who is working for whom, and who is standing for the right.
